The wax parts have been poured and there are many of them! Now the artisans have the monumental task of taking each piece, cleaning them up; removing bubbles, seam lines and other imperfections, to ensure that the detail is accurate and as per the original clay sculpture.
The hollow wax castings are made from the silicone molds at a precise thickness, this will represent the bronze as the final result. The wax will then be 'sprued' with tubes of wax that will eventually provide a path for the molten metal.
