On the afternoon of the 6th of April 2022 Don Barthelmess, Leslie Leaney, Paul Guiver and Tony Sexton held a meeting with the City of Santa Barbara Waterfront Director Mike Wiltshire to discuss the project and possible locations. Mike's positivity, experience and words of advice were greatly appreciated and by the end of the meeting the project had a home. The Deepwater Diving Monument project was gaining momentum!
